ADNOC’s Updated LoA Request Workflow via Fieldglass for Workers
HLB HAMT Management Consultancy (HHMC) Team
ADNOC has streamlined worker access to NOC sites with an updated Letter of Assistance (LoA) request system through the LoA Portal, integrated with SAP Fieldglass. Effective from July 2025, this enhancement ensures a more efficient and compliant onboarding process for personnel working across ADNOC facilities. By leveraging integrated digital platforms, ADNOC simplifies worker access approvals, reinforcing its commitment to operational efficiency, safety, and control within the UAE’s vital oil and gas sector.
Here is a Step-by-Step Guide to the LoA Request Process
The Letter of Assistance (LoA) serves as an official document that allows contractor staff, subcontractors, or vessel agents to gain access to specific ADNOC facilities. However, it is important to note that only workers who have been fully onboarded and approved in SAP Fieldglass will be eligible for LoA submission.
Step 1: Complete Worker Onboarding in SAP Fieldglass
Before any LoA request can be initiated, the worker must complete all required onboarding steps in SAP Fieldglass:
- Worker profile must be submitted
- HSE Induction and H2S training (if applicable) completed
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate uploaded
Step 2: Worker Appears in the LoA Portal
Once the worker’s onboarding is approved in Fieldglass, the information is automatically synced with the LoA Portal. There is no need for manual data entry by the supplier.
Step 3: Log in and Submit the LoA Request
The supplier can then log in to the LoA Portal, locate the onboarded worker, and submit the LoA request. During submission, contract details and access-specific information must be provided.
Step 4: Download the Approved LoA
After the request is reviewed and approved, the LoA can be downloaded directly from the portal. This document will be used by the worker to gain access to ADNOC sites.
By enforcing this digital workflow, ADNOC enhances operational security and simplifies supplier coordination. Suppliers must ensure that all onboarding steps are completed accurately to avoid delays in LoA approvals.
